Vintage Brown Lip carved Thunderbird charms. Some of these birds have marks across the front from the shell. It appears to be where the shell has peeled. These birds have a hole drilled in the head for a bail or jump ring.
They are very delicate (thin) shells. I strongly suggest that you coat the bird several times with clear fingernail polish or clear epoxy to give them added strength. I have used them with for earrings without issues by doing this.
Each charm is individually carved from genuine brown lip shell, measuring approximately 1.25 inches, reflecting traditional techniques passed down through generations.
Condition: New Old Stock, with natural variations in color and texture, adding to the vintage charm.
