AutoArt 1/18 scale Jaguar C-type

「AutoArt Jaguar C-type」

This is a 1/18 scale model of the Jaguar C-type made by AutoArt. In the 1950s, the British automotive industry was at the top of the world, with many leading manufacturers (MG, Triumph, Austin, etc.). One of them, Jaguar, was a top-class company that dominated the world of motorsports.

This miniature car is a 1/18 scale model of the C-type, a famous car from that era. After purchase, it was stored in a dark place and was taken out of the box for the first time for this photoshoot. Therefore, it is in the same condition as when it was purchased, and the hood is taped, so it has been left as is. As a sports car, only the right door can be opened and closed, and there is no door on the left side.

The car body design with its soft curves, which symbolizes motorsports in the 1950s, is still attractive today. It is speculated that it may have influenced the Honda S800, which later appeared in Japan.

The dedicated box and the model are fixed with screws (at the bottom). The screws were removed for the photoshoot, and it was photographed from various angles. When re-securing with screws, one screw touched the bottom, causing a slight scratch. Also, the brand name sticker on the dedicated box is peeling off due to aging. Both are shown in the close-up photos, so please check and understand before considering purchasing. The condition of the product is all in the photos. It will be carefully packed and shipped.
