This gothic lovers blanket features two skeleton lovers beneath a split birch tree, stitched in a mythic love story of death and rebirth. Inspired by the tale of Hades and Persephone, this heirloom-quality throw is woven from my original artwork and designed as a keepsake for Halloween weddings, gothic ceremonies, spooky brides, and all who believe in love that lasts ’til death… and maybe not even then.
This is my symbolic reimagining—and reclaiming—of the Persephone myth. A devotion rooted in both shadow and bloom. Two figures: one crowned in moonlight, the other in sunlight. A sacred joining of separate inner worlds. A celebration of sovereignty, choice, and enduring connection.
Each 50x60 throw is woven in the USA from heirloom-quality cotton threads using my original painting. This ’Til Death edition includes the embroidered phrase beneath the bleeding pomegranate and joined hands—a visual prayer for lasting love.
